Hi, I’m Janisha Parmar. As a Mental Fitness & Clarity Coach, I specialise in energy and nervous system regulation. I hold space for high-functioning individuals who have been carrying a heavy, long-term mental and emotional load. My clients range from adults managing demanding careers, parenting, caregiving, and quiet trauma, to children and teenagers navigating modern anxiety. Moving Beyond Mindset To truly transition out of chronic stress and survival mode, we cannot rely on mindset coaching or talk therapy alone. We must work directly with the nervous system and the energetic body. The Clinical & Energetic Edge With over 20 years of experience as a healthcare professional, Specialist Optometrist, and Educator, my approach is deeply rooted in clinical understanding and modern science. Why I Do This Work

I have always been deeply aware of how much people carry, often quietly, and almost always alone.

In today’s fast-paced world, many of us are holding significant mental and emotional responsibility. Whether it is through demanding careers, parenting, caregiving, education, or navigating personal trauma, there is a constant demand to keep going, keep performing, and keep holding everything together for everyone else. Yet, very few people are ever taught how to actually support their own mind and nervous system.

This awareness is not just professional for me; it is deeply personal.

There was a time when I was carrying constant anxiety and overwhelm, with trauma and deep emotional exhaustion layered beneath it. I had lived much of my life looking after others, being strong, and appearing entirely fine on the outside. But internally, I was slowly depleting. What looked like “having it all and doing really well” to the outside world was, in reality, a nervous system locked in constant survival mode.

Over time, this invisible weight turned into a slow, profound internal depletion mentally, emotionally, and eventually, physically. It was here that I experienced firsthand the undeniable reality of the mind-body connection. The chronic anxiety I had been carrying manifested physically as a long-standing autoimmune condition. It wasn’t until I started doing the deep, root-level work to nurture my mind that true healing began. As I cleared the heavy emotional weight and brought my body out of ‘fight or flight,’ my autoimmune condition resolved too. 

This transformation made me passionate about not just helping people cope with their stress, but helping them actually heal. That is when everything changes. Clarity returns. The heavy physical and emotional weight lifts. You regain the space to think, feel, and respond intentionally, rather than constantly reacting.

CONTRIBUTION

In August 2024, I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world, as part of a global team - an experience that became as much about inner transformation as physical challenge. Alongside this, I raised funds through UK Seva Samiti Ltd to support life-changing cataract surgeries for underserved communities in Uganda, helping restore sight and independence to those living with preventable blindness. For me, this journey represented more than climbing a mountain. It was about breaking through long-held limiting beliefs around age, responsibility, health and what is possible — and choosing to prioritise my own wellbeing and growth. After years of carrying multiple roles and responsibilities, it was a new and powerful experience of reconnecting to myself, building both physical and mental strength, and stepping beyond perceived boundaries. This experience continues to shape my work. It reinforced what I now support others in every day — that when we develop mental fitness, regulate our internal state and challenge the narratives that hold us back, we expand what is possible, not just externally, but from within.
